Examines the history of the White Star Line through a collection of over 200 items of memorabilia. Examples include postcards, advertisements, photographs and posters, some featurnig the company's most famous ships, such as the Titanic, the Britannic and the Olympic. Accompanying text charts the history of the Line from the initial partnership of Henry Threlfall Wilson and John Pilkington in 1845, up until the White Star Line's merger with Cunard in the late 1930s.
