In 2003, the Marine Museum in Den Helder organized a prestigious exhibition of the great naval hero Horatio Nelson and linked to Bruce J. Hawker Vance (XIII). In this issue you will find painted and drawn illustrations, pencil sketches, an uncensored scene from Press Gang, documentation and historical facts, but also a richly illustrated overview of Vances other heroes, a broad summary of all albums by Bruce J. Hawker and a preview of the album to appear Signal 314. Also includes a previously unpublished watercolor from 1963 by Howard Flynn (then Patrick Tomkins or Patrick Townshend), which probably should serve as a notice in the Tintin magazine of the first long story which Vance worked (see Figure 3).
