Austro-Hungarian naval policy 1904-1914
An academic study exploring the naval policy which the leaders of Austria-Hungary set in motion between 1904 and 1914. The book provides a detailed context to 1904, stretching back to 1882 to explain, for example, the Adriatic Question, the dominance of the Adriatic Sea and the alliances between nations concerning the Mediterranean. A comparison between Italy and Austro-Hungary is used to demonstrate their progress during the decade. Tables with information showing the number of ships built during this period are also included.
