Byegone Rye harbour

This is one of a series of local history items concerning Rye in East Sussex, produced by the Thomas Peacocke School Local History Group. This volume (18) deals with Rye Harbour. There is a short history of the Harbour from 1800-1840, followed by personal memories of local residents, and lists of harbour dues from the 19th century onwards. The book is illustrated with a few black and white line drawings.
