Grace Darling & her Father going to the Rescue of the Forfarshire Steamer. The Forfarshire steamer (commanded by Captn. Humble) left Hull for Dundee Wednesday Even'g Sept, 5th 1838. About 4 O'Clock friday Morn'g the 7th. She struck on the Rocks about a Mile from the Fern Light House broke right in two, when the after part of The Ship immediatly sunk & all were lost but 9 persons who got on the Rocks, from whence they were saved by the extraordinary courage of Grace Darling & Her Father.
