LYNX (1955 PAGE 3); A port just off stern view; In the fitting out basin, viewed from the top of a crane. Stern out of picture. The aft 4.5 in gun turret is in place. Note the timber 'towers' along the starboard side of the deck to assist the measurement of hull deflection (breakage). Taken during the construction of the vessel at the Clydebank yard of John Brown & Co Ltd.
