An unidentified officer, possibly K J Mills, on board the general cargo heavy lift ship Empire Elaine (1942) while in port.
A full length portrait of an unidentified officer on board the general cargo heavy lift ship Empire Elaine (1942) while in port. He is in tropical uniform of short sleeved shirt and shorts. He has shoulder straps with a stripe either side of a circle. This may be K J Mills. The ship appears to have a substantial deck cargo of timber and the trees in the background indicate that this may be in the Panama Canal region, in which case the date would be early Sep. 1947. Vertical format.
