On board the general cargo ship Harperley (1943) alongside the iron ore loading wharf at Wabana, Bell Island, Newfoundland. The iron ore is transferred from the surface and subterranean mines to the wharf using continuous conveyor belts supported on substantial wooden trestle structures.
