Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit
        
        A 2¾ x 2¼  film negative.   On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard.  Inside the main communications office on the starboard side of 2 deck between 32½ and 35 stations.  The photographer is looking aft and on the left are the positions of three operators and teleprinters 2, 4, 5 and 6.  A duplicator wrapped in polythene, the shore telephone line and a microphone for signal I/C are in the right foreground with a control cabinet marked CJC with an aerial selector switch beyond.
