Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit
A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. Inside the torpedo stowage and handling compartment between 51¾ and 54¼ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft and to port from the forward starboard corner. Stowage for Mark 44 lightweight torpedoes is on the right and a loading trolley is on the deck. On the left is the watertight door to the compartment and two steel cupboards for the stowage of torpedo pistols. A vertical format image.
