Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A 2¼ square roll film negative. A deck view of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the starboard aft end of 1 deck, looking over the Limbo mortar well on 2 deck. Number 2 Limbo mortar in on the left abaft number 1 Limbo Mark 10 mortar which has a canvas cover over the main frame and canvas caps over the tops of the barrels. The Mediterranean ladder is stowed on the deck alongside number 1 mortar. The fixed deck mounted torpedo tubes on the port side of 1 deck are in the background.
