A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the main signal office on the port side of 2 deck between 32½ and 34 stations. The photographer is looking to starboard showing a desk with a telephone switchboard and two voicepipes. Above the desk is a shelf. On the left are pigeon holes, book shelves, an high level key cupboard and a safe. An emergency lamp is to the right of the door.
