Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the combined radar office on the port side of 2 deck between 36¼ and 41 stations. The photographer is looking forward from the door showing, on the left, a visual display unit, follower unit, interrogator, transponder, store cupboard and power unit. A wooden table is close to the forward bulkhead. On the right is a combined fuse and distribution panel and beyond it are a visual display unit and a receiving panel, each with their own operator's chair.
