A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is below decks in a large dining hall. A standing table, two folded tables, a fire extinguisher, high level shelf and loadspeaker are the only furniture and fittings. Cardboard boxes are in a corner. The photographer has allocated the number 1 to this location.
