A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the wardroom galley and preparation space on 2 deck between 207 and 224 stations. He is looking to starboard and slightly forward in the aft end of the galley showing a steaming oven, a bain marie and a small boiling copper. A trolley is in the background.
