A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the bakery on the port side of 5 deck between 20 and 30 stations. He is looking aft in the bread cooling space showing the empty racks. On the right is a piece of plywood on which is written 'Ch/cook Lee cakeboard'. A vertical format negative.
