A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the Commando group sergeants' recreation space on the port side of 4 deck between stations 150 and 164. He is looking forward from inside the bar area showing the bar counter with shelves under and a cooling motor on the right. Settee benches line the bulkheads in the lounge area.
