A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the assault operations room on the starboard side of 1 deck between 91 and 107 stations, looking aft and to starboard. Five communications stations, each equipped with a morse key and two filing trays, are in the corner of the space and a helicopter state board is on the left. An SACC plot is in the centre and a VHA display is in the foreground. The ventilation trunking has 2K41 on it.
