A port side view of the Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) anchored in the Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden

A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) at anchor in the Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden. The ship is in white hull livery, is dressed overall, has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships and has two of her boats missing from their davits. A steam tug or tender is close alongside her port quarter. The photographer is in an elevated position in the Sodermalm district looking north-east-by-east showing the cranes and wharves on the south side of the Saltsjon in the right foreground. A steam or motor yacht is alongside the Kastelholmen to the left of centre.
