A port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the Grace Line passenger/cargo motor ship Chimu (1924) in Gatun Locks while transitting the Panama Canal. Two of her crew are sitting in bosun's chairs working on the funnel. The port of registry shown on the stern is New York but Lloyd's Register of Shipping gives her port of registry as San Francisco.
