        On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971.  The photographer is in the operations room between 31¼ and 35½ stations on 1 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward from near the centreline at 33½ station showing the gunnery officer's plotting table on the left.  An armament broadcast speaker is mounted under the deckhead.  A dimmer switch and communications headset are at the end of the table.  Next to it is the LOP position comprising a visual display unit, a plotting table and a console.  a radar visual display unit is close to the starboard side of the ship.
