        On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971.  The photographer is in the combined radar office between 36½ and 41 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from 40 station showing a Thermotank air conditioning unit at deck level against the starboard bulkhead.  Above it are a ship's head marker generator, a radio receiver, a control amplifier and a transmitter data bearing service unit.  Against the aft bulkhead are an electric fire and another ship's head marker generator,  radio receiver,  control amplifier and  transmitter data bearing service unit.
