        On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971.  The photographer is in the main passageway (known as the Burma Road) between 49 and 63 stations on 2 deck looking to starboard from 50 station showing an emergency changeover switch and connection box in the left foreground with a cork covered pipe next to it.  An hose, an air conditioning vent trunk with fan motor, two engine room vents and a pair of chequer plate steel ramps are in this space.   A vertical format negative.
