A port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Lancastria (1922) at a mooring buoy in an unknown harbour. An accommodation ladder is rigged at a shell door amidships and a small motor launch is alongside it. The Blue Peter is being flown from a halyard between the foremast and the funnel and a windsail ventilator is rigged near the mainmast. The stern of a warship can be seen in the right background. The negative is silvered.
