The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 47¼ and 48½ stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking to port and aft from the starboard side showing a power distribution panel, a power and alarm panel, a spark suppression unit and a wooden cupboard against the port bulkhead.  A compass retransmission unit, the battery cubicle and a wooden cupboard are against the aft bulkhead.
