On board the Royal Navy type 81 general purpose frigate Ashanti (1959) under way on the Thames heading upstream from Gravesend to the Pool of London. The photographer is inside the bridge looking forward and to starboard from the port aft corner showing two officers keeping a lookout ahead and one checking to starboard. Negatives numbers PM7461/12A to PM7464/35A inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
