A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Royal Navy frigate Scarborough (1955) under way in the Atlantic, west of Gibraltar. She is still fitted with her original slim funnel, is a unit of the 5th Frigate Squadron and her pendant number is F63. The photographer is on board the frigate Falmouth (1959) looking aft and to port from the port side of the bridge wing while the ships are participating in the NATO exercise Riptide III. A chemical stain is in the centre of the negative.
