On board an Ark Royal (1950) helicopter flying over the Royal Fleet Auxiliaries Fort Duqesne (1944) and Tidesurge (1954) off Karachi.
On board an helicopter from the Royal Navy aircraft carrier Ark Royal in flight over an achorage off Karachi, Pakistan during the CENTO exercise Midlink VI. At anchor are the Royal Fleet Auxiliary stores carrier Fort Duquesne (1944), pendant A229 and the fleet replenishment tanker Tidesurge (1954), pendant number A98. In the background are an unidentified tanker, possibly United States Navy, and a merchant ship. The photographer's caption says that one of the ship's is the Pakistan Naval oiler Attock but this is definitely incorrect.
