A distant stern view of an unidentified British registered beam trawler at sea in the North Atlantic within 200 miles of Iceland during the time known as the 3rd Cod War. She is motor driven and has the appearence of a vessel built in the early 1960s. The photographer is on board the patrolling Royal Navy frigate Falmouth (1959) looking forward from the port bridge wing with the bearing compass in the foreground. A rubber dinghy is heading from the frigate to the trawler to collect a gift of fish. This trawler appears in negatives numbers PM8042/28, PM8042/30, PM8042/31, PM8042/32, PM8043/33, PM8043/34 and PM8043/35.
