The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the starboard side of the bridge wing showing the guided missile destroyer Kent (1961) keeping station close alongside during a refuelling serial. The bow of the Kent, the headlamp ESM (electronic support measures) at the top of her foremast and everything aft of her mainmast are out of the picture.
