His Majesty's dockyard at Ireland Island, Bermuda
Looking south-west from seaward at His Majesty's dockyard at Ireland Island, Bermuda. In the north Basin on the right is the dockyard tug St. Blazey (1919) and under the sheerlegs is the light cruiser Danae (1918). Alongside the North Breakwater is the light cruiser Durban (1919). Both of these cruisers are units of the 8th Cruiser Squadron serving on the North America & West Indies Station. In the Admiralty Floating Dock No. 1 (1902) in the South Basin is a naval auxiliary undergoing refit.
