The photographer is in a boat off the coast showing a number of rowing boats with tourists gathered off the entrance to the grotto or leaving the grotto. To the right of the grotto entrance are steps which lead up to a walled terrace and an entrance into the cliffside. At the end of the terrace is a religious shrine. A vertical format negative.
