The Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto) on the north coast of Capri, Italy
The Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto) on the north coast of Capri, Italy. The photographer is in a boat off the coast showing a slightly distant view of a number of rowing boats gathered off the entrance to the grotto waiting to pick up tourists from the steps to the right of the grotto entrance which lead up to a walled terrace and a path up to an entrance in the cliffside. At the end of the terrace is a religious shrine and tourists are gathered round it. On the right are two rowing boats with tourist passengers.
