The harbour on the north side of Capri, Italy
The harbour on the north side of Capri, Italy. The photographer is looking south-west-by-west from a boat offshore showing a steam yacht, the coastal passenger vessel S. Costanza Express (fl. 1930) and a motor launch berthed next to the breakwater. A large number of rowing boats are drawn up on the foreshore. Buildings of various types, including a shop advertising Agfa film, the Belle Vue & Trois Rois, a restaurant and the Hotel Grotte Bleue, line the waterfront and the road up the hill.
