The Punda district at Willemstad, Curacao.
The Punda district at Willemstad, Curacao. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship in Santa Anna Bay looking towards the Punda side while the ship passes through the open Queen Emma swing bridge. A small steam launch, a 2-masted schooner and a single masted sailing vessel are alongside the quay. Buildings fronting the bay include the premises of Charles J. Henriquez Commission-Agent, El Angora, C.F. Muskus & Co. and Cafe Suiza. The floating market at the entrance to the Waaigat is on the left.
