The Old Harbour and Ploce district at Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia. The photographer is in the south-west corner of the harbour looking east-north-east showing St. John's Fortress on the extreme right. On the left is a single masted lateen rigged vessel with a small jibsail and beyond it a the large four storey Gimnazija (secondary school). The Kase Breakwater is in the centre of the picture and fishing nets are hung out to dry.
