The village of Lyngseidet in Lyngen Fjord, Norway. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship anchored in the fjord looking north-west showing the parish church to the left of centre, the landing stage in the centre and the fish wharf to the right of centre. A motor fishing vessel is drawn up on shore, another is alongside the wharf and others are at anchor offshore. The Kjosen valley has mountains on either side and they have patches of snow on them.
