The coast on the north side of Palma, Majorca. The photographer is looking north-north-east showing the church of Santa Creu and the Sant Pere Bastion on the right. The circular tower remains of seven windmills are spaced out along the coastal slope. The photographer is on board a Cunard Line passenger cruise ship and one of her motor lifeboats is approaching with passengers returning from a shore excursion.
