The harbour and the north-west and west districts of Palma, Majorca. The photographer is near the La Seu Cathedral looking west-by-south across the wharves, breakwater and harbour. Schooners, other sailing vessels, steamships, fishing boats and a Spanish Navy Bustamante class destroyer are in the harbour. The large Hotel Mediterraneo is at the water's edge on the west side of the harbour in the centre of the picture and the Castell De Bellver is on top of the wooded hill to the right of centre. A small piece of the negative in the top right corner is missing.
