On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored off Palma, Majorca. The photographer is on the port side of the poop looking forward and slightly to port showing the motor lifeboat A being lowered over the side by a derrick. Two officers and four lascars are in the boat and a group of the crew are on deck holding onto a rope which leads through a double block. No passengers can be seen on deck which is glistening with water. A vertical format negative. See also negative number P94080.
