A slightly distant port side view of the motor lifeboat A from the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) under way in the old harbour at Palma, Majorca. Two officers and four lascars are in the boat. A brigantine and two 2-masted schooners are berthed on the left and a large number of fishing vessels and leisure craft are berthed on the north-east side of the harbour. The Sant Pere Bastion is in the left background and on the right is the church of Santa Creu.
