Looking east from the Sydney harbour Bridge at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The photographer is on the south end of the bridge looking east showing Dawes Point Park in the foreground facing Sydney Cove. No. 1 wharf of Circular Quay is on the opposite side of Sydney Cove and Farm Cove is beyond it. In the right background is Garden Island and the Australian Navy cruiser Adelaide (1918) and seaplane carrier Albatross (1928) are alongside the jetties. Fort Denison is the left of centre and three cargo ships are at anchor in the left background.
