Shipping in the harbour and alongside the breakwater at Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife Island, Canary Islands. The photographer is looking north-east along the harbour showing a great variety of small craft at moorings in the harbour including rowing boats, lighters, workboats, tugs and schooners. Boat landing steps, a covered shelter and a lighthouse are at the south end of the breakwater. Two and three masted fruit schooners are alongside the breakwater and at the north end of the breakwater and seen from off her port quarter is the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922). She is dressed overall. The Anaga mountains are in the background.
