A starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. She has an accommodation ladder rigged aft and one of her boats is by the forward boat boom. Lifeboat 17 has been launched. She is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm of her foremast and the signal flag N is flying from the bridge signal halyard. The negative is very slightly out of focus. Negatives numbers P84699 to P84701 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
