On board the Swedish cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) heading south in the Culebra Cut, Panama Canal. The photographer is on the port side of the forward end of the boat deck looking forward showing members of the ship's crew lining the forecastle rails looking at a cargo ship which is lightly laden and is heading north. The cargo ship has two white bands on its funnel. Her name is on the bow but it is not quite decipherable. A vertical format negative.
