        A port quarter view of the staysail spritsail barge Ironsides (1900) under sail in the Thames Estuary during a barge match.  She is on the port tack and she has an RDL logo on her topsail.   A crew member at the bow appears to be taking a sounding using a lead line.  On the right is the staysail barge Repertor (1924) with all white sails and with a Crowned Head logo on her topsail.  A vertical format negative.  Negatives numbers PM2359/2  to PM2364/37 were taken on the same day.
