A slightly distant starboard bow view of an unidentified oyster smack under a crowd of canvas while racing, probably in the Thames Estuary. She is sailing goose-winged with her genoa boomed out to port and her mainsail out to starboard. A triangular sail has been rigged below the mainsail boom. Another smack is following in her wake.
