The general cargo ship Arawatta (1958) loading horses in an unknown port in Australia. The ship is berthed port side to the quay. The photographer is on the quayside abreast the mainmast looking forward and to starboard showing a two stall horse box being lifted aboard by the ship's own derricks. It is being positioned to port of number four hatch alongside other horse boxes that are abreast the mainmast. Transparencies numbers PCT1437 to PCT1439 were taken on the same occasion.
