Shipping in the docks at Falmouth, Cornwall. The photographer is looking north-west-by-west from a high vantage point near the Eastern Breakwater showing a tanker manoeuvring astern in the foreground assisted by a tug. Cargo liners, tankers and the Admiralty Floating Dock No.5 (1912) are alongside the jetties attached to the Western Breakwater. A Royal Navy Type 15 frigate is at anchor in the harbour.
