The foredeck from the bridge on board the Bank Line general cargo ship Tymeric (1919) while at anchor off the Australian coast. The photographer, who was one of three apprentices serving on board the ship, is looking forward and slightly to starboard from the port side bridge wing showing the foremast, number one hatch and the forecastle. An anchor ball is hoisted on the forestay.
